Mental Riot is an alt-rock three piece band from the Quad Cities area. Guitarist Jack Morrow and bassist Cadriel Anderson first played together at Common Chord's Kidstock summer camp in 2023. They immediately connected on their love for rock and began writing music together regularly. Later that fall after joining another group through QC Music Therapy, they met drummer Catherine Hamlette and instantly hit it off, becoming an amazing power trio under the mentorship of the teachers there.

Ready to start playing more frequent shows, Mental Riot moved over to QC Rock Academy in the fall of 2024 where they work with owner/instructor Greg Hipskind. Joining their collective creative ideas, skill, and talent, the band is known for high energy performances, authentic chemistry both on and off stage, and a love and appreciation for other music and artists of all kinds.

Mental Riot has performed on QC stages big and small in their short history together including local parades, outdoor events like Oktoberfest, Rascals, The Sound Conservatory, and The Rust Belt. Both their original works and covers bring audiences together for an overall incredible musical experience. This up and coming band is one to keep your eyes (and ears!) on as they continue to gain momentum in the QC and beyond.
